Who We Are
Girls+ is a non-profit organisation that is driven by community level interventions aimed at providing reproductive health education and services to adolescents and young people in Sierra Leone; and delivering programmes that help mitigate the risks and incidence of sexual abuse and violence against adolescents in Sierra Leone. The organisation works in collaboration with the Government of Sierra Leone, local non-profits organisations, international development partners and private sector entities to design and implement projects that align with its strategic objectives.
“Girls+ has developed programmes that will contribute to address a range of issues that prevail in the society. These problems are problems that I have experienced first-hand and continually in my line of work and interactions over 15 years in journalism and community-based activism in Sierra Leone."
